Editing a page

You can edit the properties of a page, such as page name title, description, and you can edit the content of a page, such as adding widgets. You can also edit page’s permission, rollback page version or list of JavaScript and CSS links.

Editing the properties of a page

1. In the main menu at the top of the screen, under Pages item, click Page Properties, then choose the Page you want to edit from sitemap or Page list.
 
2. On the Pages page, choose the page you want to edit from Page list, then click Properties button from toolbar above the page preview.
 

Editing the properties

1. You can edit the properties of a page. To edit the properties click Property button from toolbar.
 
2. For Normal page, you can edit the following information for the page:

General

 

  • Menu Label: The title displays in menu list. Example: Company Info
  • Page Name: The page name that you choose is used by the system to create auto-generated navigation links. Example: Company-Info. Click Refresh button will auto generate a Page name from Menu Label.
  • Show on Menu: Choose whether the page is displayed or not in the automatically generated menu. The page can be viewed only if linked or accessed directly. You can also control the page access by the page’s permissions.
  • Show on Navigation: Choose whether the page is displayed or not in the automatically generated navigation. The page can be viewed only if linked or accessed directly. You can also control the page access by the page’s permissions.

Head Content

  • Inherited Page Attributes: Select Yes option, the system will inherited all page attributes such as Title, Keywords and Description from parent page or category. The No option is for manual input information.
  • Title: Title for the page.
  • Keywords: Keywords for the page.
  • Description: Description for the page.

Page Template

  • Inherited Template: Select Yes option, the system will inherited template from parent page or category. The No option is for manual select template.
  • Template: Select template from predesigned masterpages.

Page URLs

  • Page URL: Auto-generated page URL.

3. After modify all the information, click Update Properties button to save the changes.
